From foreign body detection to closure inspection
Innovations for safely packaged food can be found on the HEUFT stand at the CFIA in Rennes, France in mid-March.
"The place where innovation in the food-processing sector happens". This is how the organisers describe the Carrefour des fournisseurs de l'industrie agroalimentaire, i.e. the meeting place for suppliers to the food and drink industry – CFIA for short. And as far as our range of products at the international trade fair in the Parc Expo Rennes is concerned there is indeed something to it! HEUFT FRANCE will be focussing on the latest developments for a precise quality inspection in the filling and packaging process at Stand D32 in Hall 10 from 14 to 15 March 2023.
The spectrum ranges from the pulsed X-ray inspection of the most varied products and packaging materials via innovative optical detection technologies for the precise inspection of labels and closures among other things to AI-supported real-time image processing for full detection reliability with the HEUFT reflexx A.I..
For example, the HEUFT eXaminer II XS realises a full coverage radiometric lateral inspection of tins and drinks cans or even stand-up pouches in order to find even the smallest foreign objects inside them. And the HEUFT FinalView II CAP not only carries out an all-round inspection of the closures and safety elements of food packaging but is now also ready for a complete check of the integrity and functionality of new types of tethered caps which will become compulsory throughout the EU for all disposable drinks packaging from July 2024.
So the place where innovation in the matter of in-line quality inspection will take place at the CFIA is definitely the HEUFT stand D32 in Hall 10!
