BrauBeviale 2024: artificial intelligence as a highlight
From compact entry-level devices to premium systems for high-speed lines: intelligent innovations for superior empty and full container inspection in the filling and packaging process can be found at the BrauBeviale at the HEUFT stand 8-104.
The HEUFT InLine II IX all-surface empty bottle inspector, which is boosted by X-ray and artificial intelligence, only just went into series production at BrauBeviale 2023. The premium system, which achieves a new level of detection and rejection reliability even on high-speed lines, has since enjoyed high demand – and therefore naturally cannot be missing from BrauBeviale 2024! Just as little as the further developed HEUFT eXaminer II XOS with HEUFT reflexx A.I. cameras, pulsed X-rays and smart X-ray image analysis, which is used for precise glass-in-glass detection in filled bottles, among other things.
Intelligent in-line inspection
However there will also be a deep insight into the right technologies for entry into in-line quality checks at the HEUFT level at stand 8-104 especially for SMEs such as private and family-owned breweries. The spectrum ranges from the HEUFT InLine II IR which carries out a complete empty bottle inspection with a minimum space requirement to the compact HEUFT ONE which is used for fill level and closure checks among other things as well as the HEUFT PRIME which can carry out a full container inspection in addition to other important functions such as the reliable detection of bursting bottles in the same operation.
Furthermore at stand 8-104: the HEUFT FinalView II CAP for the gapless complete inspection of closures and the HEUFT FinalView II LBL for teach-in capable label inspection. HEUFT reflexx A.I. also realises a new dimension of precision here.
How smartly the AI-supported image processing developed in-house detects glass splinters in empty and filled bottles, while at the same time minimising the false rejection rate, is one of the trade fair highlights at the BrauBeviale 2024 in Nuremberg. – and will be vividly demonstrated at special enlightenment stations.
